Bathtub Chip, Crack & Hole Repairs

Chips, cracks, and holes repaired invisibly, in porcelain, fibreglass, acrylic, and more.

Bathtub Chip, Crack & Hole Repairs

A dropped shampoo bottle, a settling house, or simple age can leave chips, cracks, and even holes in a tub or shower base. Left alone, they let water reach the material underneath, and a cosmetic flaw becomes rot, rust, or a full failure. We repair damage in porcelain, plastic, acrylic, fibreglass, cast iron, steel, and concrete fixtures, then blend the repair to match the surrounding finish so you would have to hunt for it.

Often paired with bathtub refinishing, soft bottom repair, and slip protection, since combining work in one visit keeps the total cost down.

Available in North Bay, Greater Sudbury, Huntsville, and the rest of our Northern Ontario service area.

FAQ

Chip & Crack Repairs: questions we hear most.

Straight answers from the crew doing the work. If yours is not here, call and ask.

Can a cracked fibreglass tub really be repaired?
Yes, in most cases. We fill and reinforce the crack, rebuild the surface, and colour-match the repair. If the crack is caused by a flexing, unsupported bottom, we fix the support problem too so the crack does not come back.
Will the repair be visible?
Our repairs are colour-matched to the surrounding surface. On most tubs the repaired spot is very hard to find once we are done. If the whole finish is worn or discoloured, we may recommend pairing the repair with a full refinish.
Do you do warranty repairs for manufacturers or builders?
Yes. We handle manufacturer warranty repairs for fixtures chipped or scratched during shipping and installation, which is common on new builds and renovations. It is far cheaper than replacing a brand-new tub.
What materials can you repair?
Porcelain, plastic, acrylic, fibreglass, cast iron, steel, and concrete. That covers nearly every tub, sink, and shower base made in the last century.
How long does a repair take?
Most single-spot repairs are done in a visit of a few hours, and the fixture is usually back in service within 24 to 48 hours depending on the repair.
